Hi my name is Lauren and my lash journey started in 2016, I would travel to Liverpool from London completing first a Classic Lash Course with Cheryl Taylor. I spent 3 months doing classics before returning to Liverpool to train in Russian Lashes, it was here I learnt techniques to make Russian fans with tweezers. By this point I had moved back to Corby and opened a space in my mum's garden 'The Secret Shed'.  

After spending some time learning how to make fans my lash clients were growing and my business was going from strength to strength. I completed a masterclass in London with a Russian Lady were we spent a lot of time mastering 'lash mapping and styling'. I went on to complete a Masterclass with Ellie Stratford 'Master Lash' this was were I learnt Vegas Lashes a style which I can now teach. I then went on to have my daughter which is why I became to grow my team and welcome Daisy to the team!.

Daisy is the one of reasons I decided to become a trainer, when she started her lash journey. I was able to see the standard of training in Northamptonshire and I decided to RAISE THE BAR!.

 I have also trained with Mr Lash, This is were I learnt more styles for my Lash Menu. It is very important to keep training along with keeping your skills and services up to date. You will never stop learning, The amount of knowledge I have gained and tips I have received from various masterclasses is insane! It is definitely the reason my lash business continues to grow and grow.

Then that brings me to here, I am a great believer of the book 'The Secret' (Rhonda Byrne) which is where the name "The Secret Lash Academy" comes from. The secret is about the law of attraction and positivity and I can’t wait to share this with my students along with all my hints and tips. 

I also believe that shedding some light and sparkle on someone else’s business wont dampen my own. What we put out to the universe we get back, which is why I cannot wait to help you all on your lash journey to become the best!
